Subject: Story on camelback consign
To: Glenn Michaels

Story is in today's paper. Your blog is mentioned prominently in the story. Thanks for all of your help. Here is a link:

UPDATE: This painting was recovered with the help of William (Bill) Roach, the landlord of the 1030 E. Camelback Road property.

I'm still waiting for the Arizona Republic, Call 12 for Action and the Attorney General to do something
to help me recover these items and the those shown below. It looks to me like the media, in particular
prefer to focus on the female victims of Camelback Consign & Design. I note that the news stories and
the TV segments spotlight women almost exclusively. Hey, my wife pointed it out some months ago!

IF YOU GAVE

Camelback Consign & Design
Michael Burns
Justin Burns
Chad Burns
Vera Manuz
Or any other associate
items to sell, hold or move that were neither returned nor paid for, I urge you to post pictures of your lost items so that interested parties can determine whether they have seen or have them.
In some cases, you may have (only) received partial payment.
I strongly suggest that you post them on FACEBOOK, in the CAMELBACK CONSIGN & DESIGN (link) group area - which I have now opened to postings by all members. (Joining is easy, too; though new memberships must be approved.)

The web address is:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/burnmikeburns/
FACEBOOK is a central location readily available to most folks with Internet access.
If you like, you can also forward those images to me - gsmichaels@yahoo.com - so that I can post them on the blog, as well.
Depending on the nature and number of submissions, I think it might be a good idea to dedicate a separate blog page to each person who forwards a significant number of images and or information. I am open to suggestions in this regard.
I encourage you to contact the offices of the Attorney General of Arizona, through special agent Ismael.Fuentes.azag.gov and provide your images and associated complaint information, as well.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Email me at: gsmichaels@yahoo.com

Please use the Subject: STOLEN BY MIKE. Each photo should be accompanied by a short description, dimensions, estimated value, a contact name, contact phone number and/or email address so that you can be contacted in the event your item(s) have been identified by someone willing to reach out to you.
Potentially, this could be useful to law enforcement... assuming that there is anyone in law enforcement actually interested in helping us out.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I suggest that you review the latest of three articles by Arizona Republic reporter, Robert Anglen, on pages E1 & E5 of the June 22, 2014 edition.

Find that story, online, using this link:

Phoenix store owner took out loan against 2 missing paintings

or by accessing:

http://www.azcentral.com/story/money/business/consumer/call-12-for-action/2014/06/21/phoenix-missing-paintings-call12/11228455/

The article notes that Burns took loans on two paintings turned over to him by ElJuana Hermansen to Biltmore Loan and Jewelry, owned by David Goldstein.  Camelback Consign & Scam victims seeking to locate items of significant value may want to contact that firm at 480-991-LOAN, 7025 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 105, Scottsdale, AZ.

The firm's Contact US page is currently located at:

In doing research last night, I also determined that at least one item I turned over to Camelback Consign & Design (reported sold on August 9, 2013 and for which I have not been paid) was auctioned by J. Levine Auction and Appraisal on August 22, 2013.

You may want to investigate that website as well by checking out the Past Auctions link found at https://levine.infinitebidding.com/?method=getPastAuctions

Two earlier articles on Burns by Robert Anglen - with accompanying video segments, as aired on Channel 12 - can be accessed by clicking the following headlines (links):

DON'T KID YOURSELF.
Mike Burns wasn't born yesterday. He wasn't born on the Fourth of July, either. NOPE. Mike Burns was born on 9/11 in 1952. He was destined.

I don't know if the truth will set you free. But fuss loud enough with a big 'nough bunch a friends and I swear folks 'll do near anything to get you to shut up. Fast as they can.
