NO, REALLY!

What's left to settle?

The Superior Court has found against Mike Burns (aka the Consignment Vampire) again and again. Total judgments against him have now risen to just under $700,000 dollars

Of this total, perhaps five percent has been paid. Moreover, so far as we know, most of what was stolen from consignors hasn't been returned. Their time, loss and heartbreak can scarcely be compensated.

So I ask you, what's left to settle? Aside, I mean, from the dust?

The sharp pain of loss slowly becomes a dull ache in the place one once felt trust in Mike Burns, the predatory businessman, his business, and his employees or in the legal system.

Should you be new to this blog and unaware of the story here, be apprised that this is a story of failure.
